Beck's Futures

James from Becks Canvas got in touch with us to give us an update of some new stuff that’s come out from the winners. I’ve seen some of the bottles out in the bars and they’re looking pretty good. James says, “Videos for Becks Canvas have been released and uploaded to YouTube. They are pretty cool as they interview each of the finalists and gives there interpretation of how they see the art, what there vision was and what they were trying to achieve.”

Fresh in the inbox from our friends over at Sennep is the news that they’ve completed the new site for BBH, the genuinely huge worldwide advertising agency. It’s a really nice site that conveys its global focus well, and showcases some ace work.

Jan iú Més

The site for Jan iú Més landed in my inbox a few days ago. It uses footage of fashion shows in the background, whilst the user can navigate through collections in the foreground. The site was done by Mateo at Handplant Studio.

Gui Borchet claims that scrolling is fun. The plain crazy fool - horizontal scrolling is bleedin’ well horrific.

Beck’s Fusion - Competition

Don’t forget the deadline for entries into the Beck’s Fusions Live Studio Competiton is looming. Live Studio - is a challenge for artists and designers to create a piece of art to the length of the track ‘Dawn Of The Dead’ by the band Does It Offend You Yeah, whilst being filmed. We’ve also heard that you can enter through MySpace too, should that float your boat.
