Process Journal

Process Journal

Do you know what happens when your inbox has 150+ unread messages, and you’re so busy in the day job? Gems like this post for Process Journal can go mistakenly unread for weeks.

Process Journal is a quarterly released design publication that showcases the very best of Australian and international design. Thomas Williams tells us, “As you turn the pages you will se that we are not a magazine, we are not a book, but like to consider ourselves somewhere in between. We are about capturing beautiful work in a printed publication that takes a step back and allows the design to do the talking”.

Along with Edition One, we have launched a brand new website, that is now live. Our site will include regular updates on Process Journal, plus featuring new design work from from all studios and individuals featured in the publication.

Deep Fat Fried Babe / My Brain

Deep Fat Fried Babe / My Brain

Deep Fat Fried Babe / My Brain is a new self published 2 in 1 split book release from Tom Hudson (1/4 Nous Vous collective) and from Leemun Smith (Kraffhics collective). The book holds a collection of personal investigative work from each of the artists;

Tom Hudson’s illustrative, lo-fi spazziness is an insight into his surreal imagination and combines random imagery and humour with it’s tongue planted firmly in cheek. Hudson’s work is the perfect contrast to Leemun Smith’s array of playful ‘cut and paste’ collages that depict surreal environments and re-invented characters. Nestled in the centre of the book where the two artists meet are two original pieces that are painstakingly created for every individual copy.

The book consists of 80 black & white pages (40 pages each artist) and is limited to only 100 copies. You can see more images here »
