MOT Studios / Lesquatrestacions

‘Lesquatrestacions’ - otherwise ‘The Four Seasons’ - refers to the musical composition of the composer, Antonio Vivaldi. It is essentially a graphic interpretation of the four violin concertos that make this baroque masterpiece. To create ‘Lesquatrestacions’, Mot Studio have designed a prototype - ‘SisTeMu’ - a graphic notation system which looks at interpreting musical texture.

Eight:48

To mark the third issue of newspaper, Eight:48, Robert Hanson and Leterme Dowling collaborated on a poster to be given away with the first 200 newspapers sold. The poster was folded down and sent out with the issue, but there are also a limited number available to buy flat and tubed from Counter-Print and Counter-Objects.

The poster is a more detailed depiction of Issue 03’s cover, is £17 and is printed on Chromolux with 3 specials, including a Pantone silver.

Studio Mister

We were fortunate to get one of these awesome posters through the post from Mike at Studio Mister t’other week. It is absolutely a thing of beauty, and if there’s any left, snap one up. Delicious work.

Pavel Fuksa

Pavel Fuksa is a 27 years old designer/illustrator with 9 years experience in still & motion designs based in Prague, Czech Republic. His flickr folio is excellent. Pavel also recently designed 178 vintage matchboxes for a music video.

We got sent this fantastic poster from the chaps at Hyperquake recently; it is just sublime. If you can’t get your hands on one, then you can use their wallpaper-generator tool to create your own environment. Terrific stuff.
