Petar Pavlov sent us this Doritos concept piece that he recently did. “The shape and the texture of the Doritos chips are used as the base for this packaging concept. The packaging’s triangular structure can keep the chips closed after opening.” That’s a really neat, well executed idea.

Bottlegreen

Premium soft drink brand Bottlegreen is to unveil a range of stylish limited edition sparkling pressé bottles for the festive season, in stores from early November. The designs were created by textile design graduate, Rachel Pitman, following a nationwide talent search by Bottlegreen Drinks Co.

After a phenomenal response, Rachel Pitman was chosen as the overall winner, with the majority of the 5,000 votes. Rachel is a Loughborough University design graduate from Chichester. Her Sparkle Blossom design was inspired by the structure of the elderflower blossom itself.

Dell / Design Studio

Dell has just launched a new collection of their Design Studio designs. Design Studio allows consumers to customize the exterior of their computer. There are over 200 designs available from patterns to art commissioned by several noteworthy global artists. This Design Studio refresh, “Illuminations,” adds more than 80 new works of art, including 48 unique images from the exclusive Illuminations Collection and 41 bold design updates in the (PRODUCT) RED gallery, which contributes to the Global Fund to eliminate AIDS in Africa.

For this latest collection, Dell also partnered with MLB and OPI to create some pretty cool designs.
