100% Chocolate Cafe

A rummage around on Ffffound led me to this picture, and then to a post on The Dieline about the 100% Chocolate Cafe in Tokyo. That packaging is simple, sexy and bold; a corking use of typography and bold colour palette. You can see more shots on the original post on The Dieline.

Lonny Hurley

Came across this really nice packaging from Lonny Hurley today; it’s got a great retro-feel to it what with the typography and colour palette. Lonny’s portfolio may be small but what’s there (have a look at the posters) is quite nice.

Sea

One of my favourite current studios is Sea. The work they do for GF Smith is exceptional; one of the best things sitting on my desk is the GF Smith sample book. This image doesn’t do it justice, and there’s plenty of better examples of work on their site - so go and have a look.

Thanks to Matt for emailing in the tip!

Concrete, a Toronto-based design studio, have one of the nicest portfolios of work I have seen in quite a while. This branding/packaging exercise for Susanne Lang is just awesome - so simple and clean.

Letters & Numbers

Letters & Numbers has been featured over on Aisle One, and it’s a rather nice portfolio of work containing examples of different design disciplines, notably print, web and packaging design.

Not too shabby portfolio from Airside, the London-based design company.
