Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Well, due to being mega busy before christmas we couldn’t get any posts on to the site. So in advance we apologise as we had some ace stuff land in the inbox and through the front door. It’ll all go on after christmas. Hopefully we’ll be moving the site over the break to a new home, so make sure you subscribe to our all new mailing list or follow us on twitter for news on that.

Have a great christmas all!

Hello all you nice readers of Dirty Mouse. This coming sunday (20th September) I am running the Great North Run, a 13.1 mile race in Newcastle Upon Tyne, for charity. I am trying to raise £200 for Traidcraft, an excellent North East-based charity who do terrific work in the developing world. As you may be aware, Dirty Mouse is operated not-for-profit, so I can’t just throw in pots of cash from Dirty Mouse as there isn’t any.

Therefore I would like to ask readers of Dirty Mouse to donate the price of a pint to my fundraising target. If you come here for a daily or weekly fix of news, or you have benefitted from exposure in the past from Dirty Mouse, I’d really appreciate it if you can in some small way help me achieve this target.

You can give online at myJust Giving page which I have just set up now. I’ll post some pics after the race so you can believe that I actually will complete it too! Thanks in advance to you all!

Get Your Work Here

It seems that after last week’s server wobble, the cForms plugin has decided to not work properly. Therefore, we’ve not been getting our usual flood of submissions - and if you’ve tried submitting recently, you’ll have to mail us directly. That means we’ve reached the end of our inbox - that is a bad thing! Get your work up on Dirty Mouse - send us an email to hello [at] dirtymouse.co.uk and if your stuff is ace, it’ll get a big fat juicy post.

Just give up and go home

Just give up and go home

Yes, that’s right. Why? Because this wonder kid has it covered. In a report from the BBC, a 9-year-old lad - who incidentally can programme in 6 computer languages - has built an iPhone app that looks to be quite popular. Git.
