Lucas Kim, an art director at Metaproject dropped us a line to their new website, which has been programmed by the infamous Your Majesty. Make sure you fullscreen it - on a 24inch iMac, it looked superb.

Remake

Remake

Remake is a graphic design practice based in New York. Their director, Michael Dyer, dropped us a line earlier to say that they’ve just put up an astonishing update of 18 months worth of new work. It is top drawer, and worth spending a good while checking it out.

Dell / Mother New York

Dell / Mother New York

Dell commissioned Mother New York to develop an authentic way to communicate how the computing giant enables individuals to personalize technology to suit their own style. The spring 2009 collection is the latest installment of Dell Design Studio, a quarterly perspective told through the eyes of global style and design influencers.

The collection entitled “Today” is available at dell.com/designstudio and features over one hundred new laptop cover designs, which consumers can select on a range of Dell computers. The pieces, all of which are colourful, dynamic and fun, have been specially curated to reflect Dell consumer’s individual and personal ethos.

The “Today” collection includes ‘Patterns’, a collection of abstract digital designs, polka dots and argyles, inspired by beautiful textiles and vintage wallpapers. Another collection of works, ‘Classics’, is a category encompassing the best selling and most popular artworks. In addition to the Mother design team led by Michael Ian Kaye, contributing artists include Deanne Cheuk, Robert Hardgrave, Jason Holley, Filth, Tweeqim, Maya Hayuk, Korakrit Arunanondchai, as well as others.

Sparrow v. Swallow

Sparrow v. Swallow

Sparrow v. Swallow is a creative studio based in Harlem, New York. They dropped us a line to say hello, and to show us their dapper work. They also have some pearls of wisdom on their site, of which my favourite is, “In the black means you are making money. Congratulations. In the red means you are losing money. Though you have had a good innings.”
