Alex Cornell dropped us a line to his newly developed portfolio, which sits proudly on the Cargo platform. Again, there was so much nice work on display, it was hard to choose which pieces to post up. Oh, and in case you were wondering where you recognize that style, Alex works with Scott Hansen (ISO 50) and also posts on the ISO50 blog.

We Make It Good Volume 10

Get some new music for the week. We Make It Good have just released Volume 10 of their mix series, which has been mixed by Morgan Geist – of Metro Area / Environ / Unclassics fame.

Ladyhawke / Beck’s

Ladyhawke is to play an intimate, stripped-down gig to celebrate the launch of her self-designed, cutting edge Beck’s label art. Set to be the hottest ticket in town, only 400 lucky guests will get the chance to see Ladyhawke up close and personal on the 25 August 2009. The gig is so secret Beck’s have not told anyone where it is yet and fans will have to register for a lucky dip style draw to see if they can get their hands on a pair of tickets. On the night there will also be DJs and live art being created around the theme of ‘Music Inspires Art’. Beck’s and Beck’s Blue will keep guests refreshed as they get an exclusive first look at the two art label designs from Ladyhawke as well as two created by Hard-Fi.
