‘Think about the bigger picture’

Nokia // No Method

Just found this lurking around the DM inbox from a couple of weeks ago. The title is ‘Think about the bigger picture’. It’s a mural/installation for Nokia’s design team in Soho, in collaboration with No Method.

Pimp My Art

Pimp My Art

So, I was on my way out to work this morning when the postie knocks with a 5-foot tall package. John from Pimp My Art had kindly sent us some huge samples from his excellent range. If you follow the Dirty Mouse Twitter stream you’d have seen that I posted a couple of pics (here and here) from my iPhone. Without wanting to sound all sales-y, I am genuinely impressed with the quality of the artwork and the product, and would not hesitate to purchase a couple more - even my wife loves them. Check out their site, and especially collection 3, which is spot-on.

Fatih Baltas

Fatih Baltas

Fatih Baltas wrote to us to show us his product design work for the Turkish Police, namely a very smart communication gadget named the Agpa. However, two of his other product designs caught our eye as well; the delightful form of his shoe polishers and also a very cool smokers bench. Make sure you check out all of Fatih’s work both on Behance and on his own site.

Nucleo

Nucleo

A nice bit of interior design here from Nucleo, who decked out the interior for the Iris Ceramica Ritmo and Velvet tiles collection showroom. “The project aims to fragment and destruct. To reduce aggregated forms to elementary geometry. Nothing more and nothing less than volume, crucial and bearing structure, strength and vital consistency of materials.”
