Blaugallery

This may be old news but the exquisite Blaugallery has relaunched their website with some fantastic photography of the artwork for sale. I’d love to get one of their pieces but they’re just a bit too pricey for my poor wallet.

Check out some of the installation work from Jacob Dahlgren. He’s produced some really interesting pieces, literally exploding with colour.

7,200 bananas - Stefan Sagmeister

February 12, 2008

Stefan Sagmeister seems to be the flavour of the month with the design community. At present he has an exhibition, “Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far“, an interactive exhibition on display at Deitch in NYC.

One of his exhibits is 7,200 real bananas glued to a wall. This pic looks impressive, but it is slightly, well, bananas. If any of our NYC readers have seen it, what do you think? Also, what’s the consensus in general to it? Inspired or wasteful?

CSS Artillery

November 11, 2007

Being a web designer and front-end developer,  from time to time I find CSS galleries a good source of inspiration. There’s a new one around that’s looking promising in the form of CSS Artillery. It gets updated often so it’s a handy little bookmark.
