Ben Holroyd

Ben Holroyd sent us some delicious images from a project he’s just completed for Analog, A Film, Motion and Visual FX Studio. Ben says, “Fresh back from the printers are the first bits of their rebrand, a full set of stationery and cd packaging.” Lovely looking work, that!

Dusst Digital

Dusst Digital

Dusst Digital have just launched a new visual identity and website designed for them by our friends at Draught Associates. The identity focuses on the spectrum of light and the formation of pixels. This is represented in the print production through square format business cards that have a holographic foil applied. I like that.

Rainer Beihofer

Oh my! This is a simply sublime piece of work from Rainer Beihofer, a german graphic designer. About the project in question which was designed for Hugo Boss, Rainer describes, “The whole sets contained different birthday, thank you and presale cards, premium and standard invitations. Besides various special papers we used foil, textile, even wood, different print and surface finishings”

Naturalis x5 - GF Smith/SEA Design

Cor, Sea have been at it again. Fresh in the inbox was a very nice message from Rich at Sea accompanied by some beautiful visuals (sadly the ones above don’t do it the full justice). Apparently they have completed the latest Naturalis promo for GF Smith, and it is launching tomorrow

We’re told that the 24 page promo is printed on the GF Smith’s Naturalis Smooth Absolute White (330gsm/160gsm) and features Pearlescent foiling on the front and back covers. The launch is to be accompanied by a limited edition of 200 posters, also featuring foiled text.

The fifth in the series of ‘Naturalis’ from GF Smith features compelling photographs by celebrated Art Director Peter Saville and artist Anna Blessmann at the Tulis Russell paper mill in Fife. “I imagined something historic and craft-based,” reveals Saville, “but it was more like being at an engineering works or an oil refinery – miles of pipework, steam and noise. Very industrial and exciting.”

Naturalis x5 is launched on November 5th in Manchester. Contact GF Smith for further details.
