Ikon / MsB

Ikon / MsB

Patrick from Ikon recently sent us some very nice images from a packaging project they did for the restaurant ‘Sevva’ in Hong Kong last year. Ikon created the identities and key collateral for the patissiere and dessert / cake shop that belongs to Sevva, called ‘Ms.B’ (in honour of the owner Bonnie Gokson - she’s like the asian version of Martha Stewart, but with alot more style.)

“Drawing inspiration from the romance of old-fashioned European patisseries, Ikon used the silhouette of a classic Venetian mirror and script font to create the decorative logo. With a select palette of pink, chocolate, white and gold, these rich elements are balanced with bold stripes and a deconstructed doily pattern.”

Sickboy - Temple Shrines

Sickboy - Temple Shrines

Infamous graffiti artist, Sickboy is back with more subversive street art, this time leaving memorial shrines at sites where his graffiti has been whitewashed or torn down. The artist ―who has spent most of his career painting his iconic temple logo onto walls and wheelie bins ― has revisited his old graffiti spots in London and placed ‘temple wreaths’, mourning ribbon and Sickboy shrine paraphernalia where his works once appeared.

El Mas Santo

El Mas Santo

Kinga Offert sent us details of El Mas Santo, which is part of artistic project from Poznań, Poland. The idea is to juxtapose the world of Mexican wrestlers with the grey and sad reality of Polish streets. On the site are photos of luchadores figurines taken by people who found them on the street or got them via mail. The project has just started so look out for more on this soon.
