Xenz

Xenz

British spray can artist, Xenz is famed for his beautiful landscapes depicting the natural world. Known as the ‘Monet of Graffiti’, the artist demonstrates an almost eidetic ability, so extraordinary is the cohesion between his mind, memory and spray can. His innovations in the study of aerosol art allow this influential artist to walk up to a wall or canvas and paint an epic landscape from his imagination. He recently released a new collection of original works on canvas, paper, and discarded objects found on streets of London.

Nucleo

Nucleo

A nice bit of interior design here from Nucleo, who decked out the interior for the Iris Ceramica Ritmo and Velvet tiles collection showroom. “The project aims to fragment and destruct. To reduce aggregated forms to elementary geometry. Nothing more and nothing less than volume, crucial and bearing structure, strength and vital consistency of materials.”

Daniel Blom dropped us a line recently to tell us that he has a new website up and running. His work, especially his portrait shots, is first rate, and well worth a visit.

Mono

Mono

Mono, a Minneapolis-based advertising agency, have one hell of an office space to work in. I’m drooling just looking at the Flickr set.

Guests are greeted with modern, finished concrete floors that are still covered in flicks of color from the old print shop, and bright white walls, accented with the same blue that greets them from the street. The blue is used for the conference room doors and old barn doors that slide open to reveal the space. Work “pods” surround the heart of the office, instead of traditional cubicles.

Mono co-founder Chris Lange collaborated with architect Charlie Lazor, of Lazor Office and Flatpak House to overhaul this space and make it a place where creative ideas truly have a place to roam free.
