The latest project of i29 is a residence at the Singel, Amsterdam (NL). This exists from one open space where several functions have been put into freestanding objects. The kitchen and wardrobe are placed near the entrance and combined into one single volume.

The bath- and bedroom is hided into a volume which is placed at back of the house. From the open living area you look alongside the volume towards the vertical garden and the entrance stairs to the roof terrace. The view on the green wall holds a promise in itself which will be redeemed once you enter the bed/bathroom.

Nick Jeeves of Public sent us in these fantastic images. He says, “I thought you might like to see my Xmas cards for this year. In 2007 we decided that we’d avoid waste by only ever re-using found materials for our Christmas cards. This year we collected and pressed a variety of autumn leaves, which were then individually stamped and numbered.” Awesome!

Xenz

British spray can artist, Xenz is famed for his beautiful landscapes depicting the natural world. Known as the ‘Monet of Graffiti’, the artist demonstrates an almost eidetic ability, so extraordinary is the cohesion between his mind, memory and spray can. His innovations in the study of aerosol art allow this influential artist to walk up to a wall or canvas and paint an epic landscape from his imagination. He recently released a new collection of original works on canvas, paper, and discarded objects found on streets of London.
