Inkd
Inkd has just launched claiming to be “The World’s First Market for Original Print Design”. It seems an interesting concept, but one which I’m sure will divide purist designers from their pragmatic brothers. Designers can sell their creative to the site, and in turn customers can purchase it to use as they see fit. Perhaps Inkd will fill a niche in the market for affordable, accessible design just as iStockphoto did when they launched as a microstock site. I’ll reserve judgement on it for now, but it’ll be one to follow to see how successful it is.
