The Book of Surfing is a brand new book designed by a-sidestudio, and published by Bantam Press. Clive Wilson picks it up for us, saying, “It’s being published on June 16. A major strand showcases iconic photography, films and graphics from the last 50 years of this most enduring and influential of subcultures. We’ve commissioned some great contemporary illustration for the book as well.”
Having had a look at the sample spreads, it looks great and I don’t even like surfing! There’s also a cracking 2 minute trailer that goes with the book that you can see on youtube here. If you get a break for a couple of minutes head on over for a look, as it’s well presented and offers a great insight into the book and surfing in general.
