3KG

David at September Industry got me all hot and bothered with this find today. 3KG are a multidisciplinary design studio from Sapporo, Japan, and some of their work is just ace. In particular these bags are just about the best I’ve seen recently; the colour, type and finish is just exquisite.

Collapse Design

Need some new togs? Then you could do a lot worse than Collapse Design. They have a cracking range of type-themed tees, and at £15 they’re pretty good value too!

Hel-F'n-Vetica

Sometime poster on here, Bungers, has just sent me this. Not the tee, just the link. If he had sent me the tee, I probably wouldn’t wear it as I very much like Helvetica. It did make me smirk though!

The Co-Op

No, not the cornerstone of every British community which is ‘good for everyone’, but this amazingly talented Australian design studio. You may well have seen them featured elsewhere, but this here pictured Helvetica Invite is sure floating my boat, and is getting a post on here. Top quality!

Kasper Ledet

The work of the young designer Kasper Ledet has been featured on a number of online sites recently, and with good reason. Worth a mooch if you already haven’t.

Forcetwelve

Originally featured back in October ‘07, Forcetwelve have ditched their slow, old Flash-based site for Indexhibit. Now you can see their ace work without waiting an age for the site to load. Nice!

Smoking hot work from Soulellis Studio, who seem to have a quite a penchant for Helvetica.

Strangely, I’ve never posted Breakmould before. Fantastic work, and updated since I last looked on it too.

Grids Are Good For the Soul Poster

Antonio Carusone, author of the excellent Aisle One blog, has let us know of a sumptuous limited-edition screen-printed poster he has just produced entitled “Grids Are Good For the Soul.”

As you’ll agree, it’s rather dapper, and with only 20 for sale there’s going to be a lot of disappointed designers out there.

September Industry has rightly been lauded as a welcome addition to the design blogosphere, but it is David the author’s own work that is particularly eye catching. My personal addiction for Helvetica + posters means this piece of work (below) warrants its own mention.
