Graham Jones has let us know he’s updated his portfolio with some funky new work.

David at September Industry has been busy of late. Not only is his blog shaping up nicely, but he’s been working on some personal projects with excellent results. Check out his Flickr stream for the latest updates.

As a rule I dislike Flickr sets. Portfolios should be about showcasing the best of the best you can offer.

Flickr sets tend to be bloated, and dilute the quality of the portfolio. This can be said for Devin Karringten; his stream contains some gorgeous shots, but they lose some of their punch as he has so many images. Now this is just my opinion, but a good prune (choosing the best shot from one shoot instead of four) and a platform that isn’t Flickr, and Devin would have a fantastic portfolio. I love this picture, great vintage feel to it.

Graham Jones has informed us of updates to his Flickr stream, which doubles as his portfolio. However, as I’m a sucker for anything to do with Factory Records it was this piece of work of his (below) that really caught my eye in his full stream.

Brian Potstra sent us this interesting Flickr set chronicling the making of a logo from conception to finished article. Interesting stuff, and a neat way of encapsulating the design process.

Should you be needing inspiration for business card design, then you can do worse than look at this huge Flickr photoset. Not all classics by any stretch, but a good, varied and quite frankly large collection.
