Dell commissioned Mother New York to develop an authentic way to communicate how the computing giant enables individuals to personalize technology to suit their own style. The spring 2009 collection is the latest installment of Dell Design Studio, a quarterly perspective told through the eyes of global style and design influencers.
The collection entitled “Today” is available at dell.com/designstudio and features over one hundred new laptop cover designs, which consumers can select on a range of Dell computers. The pieces, all of which are colourful, dynamic and fun, have been specially curated to reflect Dell consumer’s individual and personal ethos.
The “Today” collection includes ‘Patterns’, a collection of abstract digital designs, polka dots and argyles, inspired by beautiful textiles and vintage wallpapers. Another collection of works, ‘Classics’, is a category encompassing the best selling and most popular artworks. In addition to the Mother design team led by Michael Ian Kaye, contributing artists include Deanne Cheuk, Robert Hardgrave, Jason Holley, Filth, Tweeqim, Maya Hayuk, Korakrit Arunanondchai, as well as others.
