Nucleo Design
Nucleo was created in 1997 by Piergiorgio Robino, Chief designer and owner of the studio, teacher for Domus Academy and IED.
Piergiorgio Robino invited Clemens Mueller, a young and highly talented designer from Dortmund (Germany) to contribute, with his own art, to Primitive (Nucleo’s new collection of furniture) Collection. Mueller has developed four photographs where white is stratified as a casting resin on his skin. The images interpret the process and energy of Primitive, as if in a human body the muscle and structure could be covered by a thin layer of resin, freezing the expression forever.
