Quite frankly, as soon as the images for this landed in my inbox, I was salivating to get my hands on a copy. Cats Let Nothing Darken Their Roar 2010 Calendar is available from the 26th October.

Dell / Design Studio

Dell has just launched a new collection of their Design Studio designs. Design Studio allows consumers to customize the exterior of their computer. There are over 200 designs available from patterns to art commissioned by several noteworthy global artists. This Design Studio refresh, “Illuminations,” adds more than 80 new works of art, including 48 unique images from the exclusive Illuminations Collection and 41 bold design updates in the (PRODUCT) RED gallery, which contributes to the Global Fund to eliminate AIDS in Africa.

For this latest collection, Dell also partnered with MLB and OPI to create some pretty cool designs.

Ismail Özalbayrak

Current design student Ismail Özalbayrak sent us some very nice images of a few projects he’s recently been working on. The table, entitled Wireframe, is made from bent steel tubes and a medium density fiberboard both powder-coated in different colors. The other pictures relate to a design study called “Facette”, which was made for the hot beverage system “Tassimo” by Bosch. The project was developed under the direction of Christian Schwamkrug (Chief designer of Porsche Design Studio).

Absolute Appetite

Absolute Appetite are a London based interdisciplinary design studio. They do communication design and product design, especially tableware in fine bone china and glass. Check out their Flickr stream for quality photos of their product design.

Studiomama

Studiomama is based in London and owned by the designer Nina Tolstrup. Lovely work, I must say.
