Fatih Baltas

Fatih Baltas

Fatih Baltas wrote to us to show us his product design work for the Turkish Police, namely a very smart communication gadget named the Agpa. However, two of his other product designs caught our eye as well; the delightful form of his shoe polishers and also a very cool smokers bench. Make sure you check out all of Fatih’s work both on Behance and on his own site.

Nissan Cube Store

Nissan Cube Store

Nissan is set to launch a first ever design installation and collaboration (with Colette, Paris) as a platform to launch a Japanese design icon; the Nissan Cube. Whilst conspicuous and unique in its design, the Nissan Cube is set to attract the stylish, underground and urban mindset.

“In perfect time for Christmas shopping, the Cube Store opens Thursday 26 November at The Old Truman Brewery and is expected to take East London by storm, combining Colette’s first ever UK pop-up shop with a temporary conceptual space that will host a series of events catering for creative, fashion and art led works.”

“Parisian design guru Colette has hand picked a range of products by renowned global designers to feature in the Cube Store. These 60 Japanese inspired lifestyle products have been brought together to form a retail experience which will also showcase the Nissan Cube for a limited time only before it launches in January 2010.”
