Kings Place

KIngs Place

Music lovers and artists in the South East of England may be interested by a new creative centre just about to open up in London called Kings Place.

Santiago Hermosa picks it up for us..”Kings Place is a new creative centre in London presenting music, painting and sculpture from around the world. The building & decorating works of our waterfront development have now been completed and we are ready to open our doors to the public on the 1st of October.

Starting the 1st of October we have the exhibitions “Rock Music Rock Art” and “Sterling Stuff” at the Pangolin Gallery and the exhibition “Past in Future” by Nicolaus Widerberg. We will also be holding various conferences and school rooms on sculpture and art.”

Play the Next Track

Play the Next Track

Two wicked awesome dudes, Adam & Garrett, have been in touch to tell us about a nascent project they’re doing. Have a read below…

“We here at Hey! Studio just launched a new project called Play the Next Track. It’s an illustrated story with a soundtrack. The illustrations are created by swapping one PSD back and forth between the two of us and manipulating all of the layers. We update the site with a new chapter on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of every month. Hope you enjoy.”

We Make It Good - Shilo

Shilo

One that’s a bit different for you now. This landed in my inbox a couple of days back… “For your listening pleasure, Shilo is very proud to present the first in a series of mixes curated by DOTP featuring artist (DJ) Pretty Titty.”

As Shilo’s work in generally ace (check it here), I decided to have a mooch on over to WeMakeItGood and download the mix. I’m listening to it now, and it’s pretty sweet. You can never have enough free stuff or music for that matter, so head on over and grab a copy.
Thanks for the link, Roger!
