Process Journal

Process Journal is a quarterly released design publication that showcases the very best of Australian and international design. Thomas Williams tells us, “As you turn the pages you will se that we are not a magazine, we are not a book, but like to consider ourselves somewhere in between. We are about capturing beautiful work in a printed publication that takes a step back and allows the design to do the talking”.
Along with Edition One, we have launched a brand new website, that is now live. Our site will include regular updates on Process Journal, plus featuring new design work from from all studios and individuals featured in the publication.

File Magazine
File Magazine is a new biannual publication which Fabio Sebastianelli has art directed in collaboration with Thorbjørn Ankerstjerne. It is a 56 page magazine with an accompanying DVD which features over two hours of short films, music videos and interviews. Also included is also a commissioned limited print by Geoff McFetridge. The magazine (39 x 30 cm) is printed on improved newspaper and stabled into a 300gsm uncoated cover.

Preserve
Mark Spurgeon dropped us a line to tell us about a new project - entitled Preserve - he has undertaken. He tells us, “I have been making a visual record of old hand painted building signage, over time these old hand crafted signs are being replaced with computer cut logos, worn away by the weather, demolished and so on, soon they will be all but a distant memory.”
Mark is looking for contributions to the site so if you have any shots in your own collection, get ‘em sent to Preserve. Save the signs!

The Book of the Year is a non-profit editorial project made by designers to promote the worldwide community of designers.
