Andy Golpys (who we have featured before) emailed in to tell us he’s recently created a new design publication entitled edit Magazine.
Andy says, “The magazine will feature students, graduates and industry professionals from all areas of design. The magazine also includes photoshop tutorials for the designer’s needing a quick fix.”
Head on over to the website for examples of work and more information on the project.
Andrew G writes a good article musing why people still insist on using outdated browsers to surf the web. Go and read it »
Also it has recently been pointed out to me that the site is slightly broken in ie6. As I don’t have a copy of ie6 anymore, and can’t install it as a standalone, I can’t check or test this. However this site works fine in every major standard browser, so use another one please.
Quad over at Breadline Design has two articles you should read at the moment…
Designer Project Interest Curve - A tongue-in-cheek (but spookily true-to-life) graph showing the correlation between designers getting set a new project, and how their interest level wanes the longer they spend on it.
An Introduction to Logo Design - This has recently been featured on Logopond, where it’s received high praise. It’s a good read that goes over some valid observations to do with logo design.
