Reluctant Hero

Great all-round work from Reluctant Hero, a Newcastle-based fashion, illustration and graphics studio, although I really do hope their website logo is tongue-in-cheek of the whole web 2.0 thing. In fact, the whole site looks like a first-year intern did it; it’s either super-kitsch or super-lame. Work’s ace though!

Reluctant Hero

Their shop, Electrik Sheep, is also ace. They sell all kinds of stuff in there. If you’re in the North East, we recommend you have a mooch.

Design

Dust La Rock

Dust La Rock have as close to a perfect portfolio website format as can be - perfectly understated - other studios should take note. Also, their work is pretty handy too.

Mark Design

Mark Design, the Brighton-based multidisciplinary design company, have some neat work. Their print work is particularly strong in places, but I quite like their web work too.
