RBG6 have a sweet portfolio of work, presented in a funky format. Their motion graphics are faultless - well worth watching.

Reluctant Hero

Great all-round work from Reluctant Hero, a Newcastle-based fashion, illustration and graphics studio, although I really do hope their website logo is tongue-in-cheek of the whole web 2.0 thing. In fact, the whole site looks like a first-year intern did it; it’s either super-kitsch or super-lame. Work’s ace though!

Reluctant Hero

Their shop, Electrik Sheep, is also ace. They sell all kinds of stuff in there. If you’re in the North East, we recommend you have a mooch.

Dust La Rock have as close to a perfect portfolio website format as can be - perfectly understated - other studios should take note. Also, their work is pretty handy too.

Mark Design, the Brighton-based multidisciplinary design company, have some neat work. Their print work is particularly strong in places, but I quite like their web work too.

Neighbour

Apparently, Neighbour’s mothers, lovers and clients think that they are quite good. I agree with them, especially if their work is as good as what’s featured below.

Helvetica Coffee Mug

September 25, 2007

Just in case you have missed this, you can now drink your coffee (or tea) from a Helvetica mug. It’s been produced by Veer, and is in conjunction with the ‘Helvetica’ docu-film produced by Gary Hustwit.

Buy one from here - unless you’re a Brit, or indeed anyone outside of North America (so it seems)

Fluxus Central

More illustration goodness from Brazil, this time off Fluxus Central. It’s simple illustration, but executed exceptionally well to make striking images.
